The El Almendro Bar and Restaurante is situated in the charming hamlet of La Mela, just 10 minutes drive from Lubrin and Sorbas.

The Bar has a perfect roadside location and you cannot fail to miss it as you drive through.

Sunday Lunch (Roast or Paella) and evening meals are are on offer (24hrs notice required) and they are closed on Wednesdays.

During the past 6 months we've eaten here twice and on both occasions we turned up late without booking (sorry) but was still offered a fine selection of food (please do ring though to save any dissapointment).

The Bar has a great friendly atmosphere and there is ample seating outside (not shown photo) for just lazing away the warm summer evenings with a cool beer or nice glass Rioja.

There is also the benefit of a lovely open fire inside, perfect for the cooler winter evenings.
